Community Lessons

CATR Farms sits on 42.5 acres and has three riding rings. We have several qualified community lesson instructors and well-trained school horses. We offer individual and group lessons in beginner through intermediate-advanced level riding. Our community lesson program teaches classic hunt seat horseback riding while developing proper grooming, tacking, horse care, and horse handling skills in our students.

Vaulting

Vaulting is a unique and growing sport, which combines dance and gymnastics on a moving horse.  It's a wonderful way to develop coordination, balance, strength, trust, teamwork, responsibility, self confidence and creativity while working in harmony with the horse.  For two and a half years vaulting has been an important part of the community lessons program at CATR Farms.  The strong emphasis on teambuilding and team spirit make vaulting a natural addition to the community and the therapeutic riding programs.

Team Vaulting Practice - $20

Individual Vaulting Lessons - same pricing as above
