On March 20th, 2008, an art class from Charleston Collegiate School came to CATR to practice horse-drawing skills as part of the study of the artist Frederick Remington.
“Gym-what?” 10/23/08
The Post and Courier follows the Halloween-themed gymkhana that took place at CATR on October 25th of last year. It was a fun series of games, open to students and the community, as well as a bake sale and tack exchange.

“Romney Recounts Her Therapy” 10/27/07
Ann Romney, the wife of 2008 presidential candidate Mitt Romney, is a woman who knows firsthand the benefits of therapeutic riding. She was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1998 and credits the remission to horseback riding. Mrs. Romney spoke at the first ever blue ribbon event at CATR, raising money for a scholarship program.
